Numerous people, including NGO officials, attended the celebration, holding banners and Palestinian flags as they marched. Lebanon’s state news agency MENA reported that activist Lena Et-Tabbal from the Global Sumud Flotilla, who had been detained by Israel, was released after international pressure and returned home.
