Los Angeles, United States - October 09, 2025 10/09/2025 06:23 am GMT-0700 SIMI VALLEY, Calif. – A traffic collision involving two vehicles occurred on the eastbound side of State Route 118 near the intersection of 1st Street. The incident was reported early Thursday morning. Shortly before 6:30 a.m., emergency services received an alert that two vehicles were involved in the crash, with one car reported to be on its roof and the other one catching fire. Fire crews were dispatched shortly thereafter to handle the situation. By 6:50 a.m., a gray vehicle was reported to be overturned, prompting a call for a tow truck. The California Highway Patrol later classified the incident as a minor injury collision, and one person was transported to the hospital in unknown condition. A second individual was evaluated at the scene and released.
