US, Los Angeles: Simi Valley Man Leads Deputies On Pursuit After Possibly Vandalizing Sheriffs Station

Los Angeles, United States - October 10, 2025 10/10/2025 12:30 am GMT-0700 SIMI VALLEY, Calif. – A Ventura County Sheriff’s deputy attempted to stop a vehicle connected to an alleged vandalism incident at the East County Sheriff’s Office on East Olsen Road in Thousand Oaks. The vehicle, driven by a suspect, fled the scene, leading deputies on a pursuit eastbound on the 118 Freeway through Simi Valley. The chase ended at a Shell gas station on Yosemite Avenue, where the suspect refused to comply with orders to exit his vehicle. Deputies approached the car and forcibly removed the man, taking him into custody without further incident. He was transported to a nearby hospital for unknown injuries. A VCSO sergeant stated off-camera that the subject tore down some posters around the exterior of the station. The circumstances that led to the pursuit remain unclear. No further details are available at this time.
