Footage shows the aftermath of a plane crash in which two people died near Fort Worth's Hick's Airfield - in which two people died.

The plane - which is believed to be a King Air Twin-Engine aircraft - struck a parking lot in Tarrant County, Fort Worth, Texas, around 1.30pm local time.

Multiple semi-trucks were on fire at the time of the crash, and two individuals were pronounced dead at the scene, according to local reports.

One eyewitness, Nikolas Barrios, was on their way back from Walmart when they saw the plane stall and fall from the sky.

He said: "Shortly after crashing, a vigorous fire erupted. I immediately threw on my vest and responded to the blaze behind the office facility. "

"Onlookers began to drive their vehicles into the complex, which was a one-way in and one way out. "

"I quickly began clearing a path for the would-be fire trucks and evacuated sightseers out of the complex. "

"Then remained in my truck with hazard lights on to function as a road block for sightseers and a gate for firefighters. "

"Fort Worth Fire Department was the first to arrive on scene."

The fire has since been contained, and officials are investigating the cause of the crash.
