HBO's Harry Potter: Dumbledore & Flamels Scene Filmed in Cornwall

Filming began in July 2025 at Leavesden Studios, with additional scenes shot at locations including London Zoo and Hayes. The series is set to premiere on HBO in early 2027. The HBO series marks a major reboot of the Harry Potter franchise, promising a decade-long, faithful adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s seven-book saga. Each season will cover one book in depth, allowing for richer storytelling and character development than the original films.
Showrunner Francesca Gardiner (Succession) and director Mark Mylod (Game of Thrones) are leading the creative team, with Rowling herself serving as executive producer alongside Neil Blair, Ruth Kenley-Letts, and David Heyman.
