Officials said around 80 passengers were on board the trains when they collided at the entrance of a tunnel. Interior Minister Matus Sutaj Estok said two passengers were in critical condition, while others sustained minor injuries. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, with early findings suggesting human error as a possible cause. Rescue and recovery operations are continuing in the area.
