US, Los Angeles: Van Nuys Stolen BMW 7 Series Hydrant Hit-and-Run
Los Angeles, United States - October 13, 2025 10/12/2025 11:44 pm GMT-0700 VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A traffic collision occurred late Sunday night in Van Nuys involving a white BMW 7 Series, which struck a hydrant and a light pole at the intersection of Victory Boulevard and Woodley Avenue. The incident took place at 11:44 p.m. when the driver of the stolen BMW reportedly fled the scene after the crash. The impact caused the hydrant to burst, resulting in a geyser that reached over 75 feet in height. Emergency personnel from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded and shut off the water approximately 10 minutes after the incident began.
