Phoenix, United States - October 12, 2025 10/11/2025 08:15 pm GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – According to Phoenix Police Department Sergeant Phil Krinsky, officers responded to the Palm Crest at Station 40 Apartments (in the 3800 block of North 83rd Avenue) for reports of a fight between a male and a female. Officers arrived and found a male suspect armed with a large knife, fighting with a female. An officer-involved shooting occurred after officers gave the suspect commands to drop the knife. Phoenix Fire Department crews responded to the scene to render aid to the male suspect. He was pronounced deceased at the scene shortly thereafter. No injuries to officers or the involved female have been reported. Arizona Department of Public Safety Major Incident Division detectives have taken command of the investigation.
