Los Angeles, United States - October 14, 2025 10/13/2025 11:00 pm GMT-0700 PICO-UNION, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A wave of heavy rainfall moved through parts of Southern California around 11 p.m. Monday, marking one of several rounds of the storm expected to continue through Tuesday. The rain was captured late Monday night in the 1700 block of Toberman Street in Pico-Union as showers swept across the region. The National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch 622, in effect until 6 a.m. PDT Tuesday, for four counties: Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo. The watch covers the cities of Arroyo Grande, Atascadero, Camarillo, East Los Angeles, Glendale, Goleta, Lompoc, Long Beach, Nipomo, Oxnard, Pasadena, Pomona, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Santa Clarita, Santa Maria, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks and Torrance. Reports said residents should expect periods of heavy rain, isolated thunderstorms and gusty winds overnight as the storm system continues to move across the region.
