Commuters were left stunned as a man clung to his suitcase after it became stuck in the train doors and dangled dangerously outside the moving train.

Malcom Tendavarayen, 25, was commuting from a suburb to Paris on the RER B line when he noticed a passenger struggling with his bag.

As he boarded the train, the passenger accidentally got his suitcase handle caught in the closing doors, leaving it dangling outside.

Video from the incident showed the suitcase's collapsible handle caught between the train doors as the train sped along.

The owner desperately clutched the handle, preventing the luggage from tumbling onto the tracks below.

Malcom, from Paris, said: "The man was pretty stressed but no one was hurt. "

"The suitcase handle just got trapped in the closing doors when he got on."
