Phoenix, United States - October 15, 2025 10/14/2025 11:15 pm GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Firefighters were dispatched shortly after 11 p.m. Tuesday to the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Fairmount Avenue for reports of a person struck by a vehicle. Firefighters arrived and located a victim who was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross the road. Police quickly closed the intersection as firefighters rendered aid before ultimately transporting the victim to a local area hospital in unknown condition. According to a sergeant with the Phoenix Police Department at the scene, the vehicle involved was located nearby and did not sustain serious damage. The driver who struck the pedestrian is cooperating with law enforcement and their investigation.
