This is the hilarious moment a cat was seen standing and clinging to a door to watch outside.

Venice Lheana Ledesma spotted Namy, her ginger feline, intently gazing into the yard while holding onto the screen door in Negros Occidental, the Philippines.

Footage shows the seven-month-old kitty with its claws hooked onto the metal mesh, one front paw raised, on October 14.

Its hind feet rest on the pneumatic door closer as it balances upright.

Venice recalled that the cat leapt from the floor onto the door and stood still while she was having breakfast.

She said: 'Namy actually does this quite often, she loves climbing the screen door after eating to watch other cats or insects outside.

'It's a typical habit of hers, but I couldn't help laughing this time because of her posture, she looked like a nosy little human, standing upright with one paw on the door.'
