A tourist left an Indian street beggar confused by dancing for her.

Amusing footage shows Gigi Chadarat energetically shaking moves in front of the young girl on the roadside in Agra, India, on October 3.

The holidaymaker can be seen criss-crossing her legs before spinning around with one hand raised, as the child extends her arm in hopes of receiving some money.

Moments later, Gigi, the Thai tourist, stops and introduces herself to the visibly confused youngster in Hindi.

Gigi said: 'The kid followed us while we were strolling around the area, so I stopped and danced in front of her.

'After that, she still followed, so I danced again until she gave up and walked away.'

Impoverished India is notorious for its semi-feral street beggars that persistently follow visitors around.
