China: Cutting-edge helicopter tech to be showcased at expo in Tianjin

Nearly 400 companies from over 30 countries will present their cutting-edge helicopters and drones at the 7th China Helicopter Exposition, scheduled from Thursday to Sunday in the northern municipality of Tianjin, with more than 30 making their debut. The expo, boasting the highest number of participants in its history, will take place in Tianjin's Binhai New Area. Notably, all six of the world's leading helicopter manufacturers will attend the event. The total exhibition area for this event is 160,000 square meters, comprising 25,000 square meters of indoor exhibition space, 20,000 square meters of outdoor display area, 60,000 square meters of flight demonstration zone, and a specially added 5,000-square-meter low-altitude economy zone which will debut multiple low-altitude aircraft. Featuring new technologies and products for the general aviation and low-altitude economy sectors, this year's expo will showcase a total of 52 helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
