Township protesters torch police armoured vehicle in Cape Town
Cape Town, South Africa - 15 October 2015: A South African police armoured vehicle known as an Nyala was torched by protesters on Baden Powell Drive in Khayelitsha during a protest that started late afternoon and went into the early evening.
The protests are believed to be linked to service delivery and electricity supply issues. Police secured the scene and tried to remove all dangerous items such as rubber bullets, tear gas and other emergency security gear from the burnt out vehicle which is obstructing traffic on the road.
