Los Angeles, United States - October 15, 2025 10/15/2025 12:00 pm GMT-0700 RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Kaiser Permanente health care professionals were striking on Wednesday afternoon in front of the medical center located in the 10800 block of Magnolia Avenue in Riverside. The strike involves unionized Kaiser Permanente health care professionals, including nurses, pharmacists, physician assistants, and others. The demands: Workers are striking for a 25% wage increase over four years, better staffing, and improved scheduling to keep pace with inflation and ensure quality patient care.This is part of a larger, five-day strike by thousands of unionized nurses and health care professionals across California and Hawaii, which began on October 14, 2025. The striking workers are seeking better wages, staffing, and patient care. Picket lines will be held in Riverside on Wednesday, October 15, and again on Friday, October 17, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
