Monkeys enjoy tucking into fresh dragon fruit from tourists
This is the amusing moment a group of monkeys enjoyed tucking into fresh dragon fruit.
Footage shows a kindhearted tourist handing the cut, brightly coloured magenta treats to long-tailed macaques in Guizhou, China.
Two of the primates can be seen grabbing slices from the container on October 5.
They then munched on the fruit, prompting nearby holidaymakers to laugh as one of the animals ended up with the vibrant colour staining its lips, resembling lipstick, while nibbling the snack.
Monkeys are common in the area, and there have been reports of them taking items and even barging into homes in search of food.
Park management advises tourists not to approach the monkeys, as they may become aggressive if they feel threatened.
Risks from monkey bites include serious wound infections, herpes B virus, and rabies.
