This is the shocking moment a tuk-tuk crashed into the crowd during a Wacky Races-style rally.

Footage captured by Nina Joy Abuloc shows several three-wheeler vehicles speeding around a muddy, winding track as they approach the finish line at the Dagayani Festival in Agusan del Norte, the Philippines.

Moments later, one of the drivers lost control and veered off the motorway towards spectators standing nearby on October 4.

Frantic onlookers can be seen running for safety as the red tuk-tuk accelerated towards them.

Nina said: 'The driver just lost control and balance of the vehicle, but thankfully no one was hit. We are all okay and unharmed.'

The Wacky Races was a classic animated television series created by Hanna-Barbera Productions that first aired in the late 1960s.
