US, Los Angeles: Lancaster Investigation Underway After Fatal Shooting Incident
Los Angeles, United States - October 16, 2025 10/15/2025 10:15 pm GMT-0700 LANCASTER, Calif. – A deputy from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded to reports of shots fired on Avenue J2. Upon arrival, the deputy quickly located a male subject unresponsive behind a building known for illegal gambling. Shortly thereafter, personnel from the Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived and pronounced the individual deceased. Family members were seen at the scene, visibly upset. The homicide unit has been called in to conduct a further investigation. No additional details were available at the time.
