Los Angeles, United States - October 16, 2025 10/15/2025 09:42 pm GMT-0700 CLAREMONT, Calif. – Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel and Claremont Police Department officers responded to a traffic collision involving a Foothill Transit bus at the intersection of North Claremont Boulevard and East Ninth Street in Claremont. The driver of a passenger vehicle was able to exit safely and reported no injuries. However, the bus driver was temporarily trapped in the driver's seat due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters successfully freed the bus driver, who was evacuated through a window. The bus driver was then transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the crash. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation by the Claremont Police Department.
