Phoenix, United States - October 16, 2025 10/16/2025 04:07 am GMT-0700 MESA, Ariz. – Mesa police officers and the Mesa Fire Department were dispatched to the 1100 block of West Mendoza Avenue for reports of a person shot early Thursday morning. Police arrived on scene and surrounded the house before making entry as firefighters staged nearby. Firefighters were cleared to enter the scene and were advised that police had located a second victim in the house. Additional firefighters were dispatched to the scene to assist with the second victim. The first victim was transported to a nearby hospital in unknown condition. The second victim was not transported to the hospital, and their condition is currently unknown.
