VARIOUS OF PEOPLE WITH PALESTINIAN FLAGS, HOLDING PROTESTCHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA, USA - OCT. 18, 2025: Thousands of people joined the “No Kings” protest in downtown Charlotte, North Carolina, on Saturday, Oct. 18, chanting slogans against U.S. President Donald Trump and his policies. Carrying placards and banners, demonstrators marched through the city center denouncing Trump’s ‘authoritarian leadership’. Many also voiced solidarity with Palestine, chanting “Free Palestine” as part of the rally. Crowds are swelling in “No Kings” rallies across the country on Saturday, voicing opposition to President Donald Trump and his policies. The rallies come amid an ongoing government shutdown and the deployment of federal troops in different parts of the country. Organizers of the "No Kings" protests include the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and other rights groups that advocate for issues such as health care.
