Child injured after being struck by reversing car in Chigiri, Russia
On October 6, 2025, in Chigiri, Russia, security footage captured an unexpected accident involving a young child. In the video, a boy is seen walking out of a building with a woman, presumed to be his grandmother, in the courtyard of Building No. 27 on Krasivaya Street. The child suddenly broke free from her hand and ran between parked cars, where he was struck by a reversing vehicle. Authorities confirmed that the vehicle, a Toyota Corolla Fielder, was driven by a man born in 1982. The child was taken to the hospital with injuries sustained in the accident.
