Papua earthquake jolts shop as residents flee
This is the shocking moment a grocery display collapsed as a magnitude 6.5 earthquake shook a shop in Indonesia.
Footage shows boxes and other goods crashing to the floor as the tremor rocked a supermarket in the remote Papua region yesterday.
The United States Geological Survey said the earthquake, earlier reported at a 6.7 magnitude, struck 200 kilometres (124 miles) off Jayapura City at a depth of 35 kilometres (21.5 miles) at around 2:48 pm local time.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre said there were no tsunami warnings raised after the quake.
Indonesia lies within the Pacific 'Ring of Fire' where the majority of Earth's volcanic eruptions and earthquakes happen.
