Oversized squirrels have been caught destroying Halloween decorations and munching on huge pumpkins.

Erin Zak, 40, captured the culprits on camera as they ravaged her pumpkins, leaving them all totally destroyed.

Erin had tried to deter them with hot sauce, vinegar, and cinnamon after being targetted for the last two years.

She even left out peanuts for the squirrels, but they still went straight for the pumpkins.

Erin, from Cleveland, Ohio, said: "The pumpkins were part of my fall/Halloween decorations and they have completely destroyed them! "

"The squirrels have been coming to my home for two years now. "

"I've tried spraying them with hot sauce, vinegar, and cinnamon, but I think the squirrels just see it as extra seasoning."
