Kind police officer gives boy bags of rice instead of punishing him
This is the touching moment a kind police officer gave a boy a bag of rice instead of punishing him.
Officer Kritdanai Chuaykhwan spotted a 12-year-old boy riding a motorcycle without wearing a helmet in Suphan Buri, Thailand.
Concerned, the officer stopped the schoolboy and briefly spoke with him, asking where he was headed on September 23.
The child pulled over to the roadside while Kritdanai stepped out of his vehicle to retrieve two bags of rice from the compartment.
He then handed the rice to the boy, who placed it under his motorcycle seat.
Police Senior Sergeant Major Kritdanai Chuaykhwan said: 'While patrolling the area, I came across a young boy riding a motorcycle without wearing a helmet. I kindly warned him, hoping to emphasise the importance of always wearing a helmet while riding.
'I also gave him a small bag of rice as a token of goodwill to strengthen the relationship between the police and the public.'
