This is the adorable moment a dog was seen lying on the floor during a video call with his elderly owner.

Rose Icban spotted Yuri, the Shih Tzu and Poodle mix, lounging on the tiles while watching the pensioner, Sette, on a phone in Tarlac, the Philippines.

Footage shows the five-year-old pooch with his tongue sticking out on October 14. Sette can be heard telling Yuri to close his eyes in an attempt to make him sleep.

Moments later, the white and black canine turned his back when he sensed that his keeper, Rose, was behind him.

Rose said: 'Yuri is a very sweet and clingy dog. My mother considers him her first grandson, so every time my mum and I are on video calls, she always looks for Yuri.'
