KHERSON, UKRAINE (RELEASED ON OCTOBER 21, 2025) (USERS MUST CREDIT “KHERSON CITY MILITARY ADMINISTRATION” HANDOUT, MUST NOT OBSCURE LOGO —EDITORIAL USE ONLY) Three people were wounded in an overnight drone attack on the city of Kherson, local authorities said Tuesday, Oct. 21.
The Kherson City Military Administration reported that Russian forces struck the Korabelnyi district using Iranian-made Shahed-type drones.
“A 70-year-old woman and two men aged 53 and 76 were taken to hospital with blast injuries, concussions, and shrapnel wounds,” the administration said in a statement on Telegram, adding that one of the men suffered an open forearm fracture.
All three victims are receiving medical treatment.
Kherson, liberated by Ukrainian forces in November 2022, continues to face frequent shelling and drone attacks from Russian positions across the Dnipro River.
