Startled toddler bursts into tears after gibbon suddenly swings at glass in Beijing zoo
On October 19 at the Beijing Wildlife Park, a 1-year-old boy was standing close to the glass, watching a gibbon on the other side of the enclosure.
The gibbon appeared just as curious about the little boy and quickly swung over, pressing its face right up against the glass in front of him. Startled by the sudden appearance of the “creature,” the boy burst into tears.
His mother hurried over, picked him up, and comforted him while laughing at the unexpected encounter.
