UNCAPTIONED: Joe Biden Completes Radiation Treatment For Prostate Cancer
Joe Biden Completes Radiation Treatment For Prostate Cancer. Former President Joe Biden has finished a several-week course of radiation treatment for an aggressive form of prostate cancer, his office confirmed Monday. Biden, 82, was diagnosed in May with prostate cancer that had metastasized to his bones and has been receiving both radiation and hormone therapy. His daughter, Ashley Biden, shared a video of him ringing a bell at the University of Pennsylvania medical center — a tradition marking the end of major cancer treatment. A spokesperson said it remains unclear whether Biden will need further treatment or follow-up care. The former president also underwent Mohs surgery last month to remove skin cancer from his forehead. Biden revealed his diagnosis in May, describing it as an “aggressive” case, though doctors noted that some patients respond well to radiation and hormone therapy. He left the White House in January after suspending his re-election campaign and endorsing Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee. Despite past speculation over his health and memory, Biden has consistently defended his mental fitness, saying he remains focused on “family and recovery.” Instructions: THIS VIDEO MUST NOT BE EDITED FOR LENGTH TO COMBINE WITH OTHER CONTENT
