US: Police Rescue Skunk With Head Stuck In Jar During Quiet Night In Tigard
Tigard, United States - October 14, 2025 Officers from the Tigard Police Department responded overnight to an unusual call about a skunk wandering a neighborhood with its head trapped inside a jar. The report came from a concerned resident near SW Pinebrook and 91st, prompting officers to head to the scene. They found the animal stumbling in the dark, bumping into objects as it tried to free itself. Police managed to remove the jar safely, allowing the skunk to walk away unharmed. The department later remarked that the incident made for “a great story” — and added with relief that there was “no skunk spray.”
