A delivery driver was caught on camera throwing packages full of glassware and shouting obscenities at the homeowners and their dogs.

The Evri worker was caught red-handed when police officer Matt Whitehead, 46, received an alert on his phone from his doorbell cam.

To his horror, the delivery driver can be seen on one of two occasions throwing a parcel containing a mirror -

and referring to the owners as "dirty c*nts"."

The man can be also heard shouting obscenities at Mr Whitehead's dogs which were secured in his house in Didsbury, Manchester.

Another video captured about a week later showed the same man throwing fragile glassware into the porch.

Mr Whitehead said the driver was "abusive" and had been reported by neighbours as being "rude" several times. "

He said: "I checked the footage as I get an alert if anyone approaches the front door. "

''As I work shifts, it becomes a pain should a delivery get diverted so it's easier to speak to the delivery drivers over the intercom.

"On both of these occasions the delivery had occurred before I checked my phone."

"I'd describe his behaviour as worrying. His behaviour is clearly angry, obnoxious and vulgar and I wasn't even present. "

"Should he present like this to someone who is in and vulnerable, I'd imagine that they'd feel intimidated."

Both videos filmed on Mr Whitehead's Ring camera show the driver delivering parcels on different days, one on October 3 and the other instance on October 9 when no one was home.

He said not to be worried about the man delivering more parcels as Evri complaints team gave him a "final warning"."

"From his behaviour, I expected maybe a fox could have upturned a bin or something had fallen down in the porch but when I returned home, everything was tidy," he said."

Following this incident, Evri said the driver had been sacked.

It said: "Customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do, and we're disappointed to see a driver acting in this manner. "

"It is not representative of our 30,000 couriers and we have apologised to the customer. "

"We have a zero-tolerance policy towards this behaviour and the driver will no longer be delivering for us."
