San Antonio del Táchira, Venezuela - October 23, 2025 A Cheyenne model aircraft erupted into flames shortly after takeoff from Paramillo Airport in Táchira State, Venezuela, killing two passengers and injuring two others, according to local authorities. The plane reportedly lost control after a tire exploded during takeoff, causing it to veer off the runway and crash at the Paramillo Airfield inside San Cristóbal National Park. The aircraft then tumbled onto one of its wings and exploded into a fireball. Emergency responders from Táchira Civil Protection, fire services, and the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) arrived quickly at the scene around 12 p.m. to extinguish the flames and assist the victims.
