10月17日，广东肇庆怀集县连麦镇一场流动酒席上突刮小型龙卷风，酒席大棚的棚顶被瞬间掀起。现场数十人齐伸手拉住大棚，防止其被吹走，并确保人员安全。
目击者刘先生称，风来得毫无预兆，酒席现场部分菜品掉落在地，造成了一定的经济损失，所幸此次事件未造成人员伤亡。
