A video has emerged of members of Help4Refugee Children association protesting against refugee deportation.

The footage, shot on Thursday outside Downing Street in London, UK, shows people gathered to stand against deportation of refugees fleeing from war in their country.

Sophie Muller can be heard speaking about Hamed, who she welcomed in her home after he fled Afghanistan.

She explains that Hamed was deported and she is trying to make him come back to the UK.

Thousands of young people who sought refuge in Britain as unaccompanied child asylum seekers have since been deported to war torn countries that are in part controlled by Islamic State, the Taliban or other repressive regimes, a Home Office minister has admitted.

Help4Refugee Children organised an emergency protest outside Downing Street to demand that Deportations of refugees on the grounds that their countries are safe, such as Afghanistan are stopped NOW.
