Gaza holds funeral for 54 Palestinian prisoners returned by Israel, most unidentified
A funeral for 54 Palestinians whose remains were returned by Israel under a ceasefire agreement was held in Khan Yunis in Gaza Strip on Wednesday, with hundreds gathering to commemorate the deceased prisoners. Mourners carried Palestinian flags and chanted prayers as the bodies, many wrapped in shrouds, were laid to rest. Most of the bodies were unidentified at the time of the funeral.
