US, Los Angeles: Santa Clarita Violent DUI Wreck Leaves Driver In Cuffs
Los Angeles, United States - October 26, 2025 10/26/2025 12:17 am GMT-0700 SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – A driver in his 20s was taken into custody early Sunday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence following a violent crash that sent a red sedan flipping across the front lawn of a home in a Santa Clarita neighborhood. The collision occurred just after 12:15 a.m. in the 24800 block of Peachland Avenue, south of Lyons Avenue. Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies arriving at the scene found the vehicle resting on its side in the middle of the street, debris scattered across the roadway, and two individuals seated on the curb nearby. One of the young men was detained and subjected to a series of field sobriety tests before being arrested for DUI, according to witnesses at the scene. The crash happened only a block from a massive Halloween party that drew between 400 and 600 attendees. Sheriff’s deputies had responded to the gathering earlier in the night, ordering partygoers to disperse after receiving multiple complaints from neighbors. No serious injuries were immediately reported, though the impact left visible damage to nearby property as investigators worked to determine the events leading up to the rollover.
