This 20-second video filmed by 18-year-old aspiring storm chaser @tylerw1231_WX shows heavy rain, strong winds, and misty conditions sweeping through a residential neighborhood in Westwego, Louisiana, at dusk on October 26, 2025.
The footage was captured safely from indoors as gusts reached up to 35 mph, with reports of possible hail.
According to the National Weather Service in New Orleans, southern Louisiana was under a tornado watch issued by the Storm Prediction Center, with warnings of flash flooding and rapidly deteriorating weather conditions.
