Strong Winds Lash Chirala as Cyclone Montha Nears Andhra Coast

A video filmed by @sudhertarak9999 captures the intense weather in Chirala, Andhra Pradesh, as Cyclone Montha approaches the coastline. The 14-second clip shows trees bending under strong winds, rain sweeping across misty fields, and dark, overcast skies.
Cyclone Montha, a severe storm with sustained winds around 85 km/h, made landfall between Machilipatnam and Kakinada on October 28, 2025. Authorities evacuated more than 38,000 residents and closed schools across coastal Andhra Pradesh and Odisha as precautionary measures.
