Brass band plays YMCA for President Trump as lands in South Korea
A brass band performed the hit song YMCA to welcome US President Donald Trump as he arrived in South Korea.
Footage shows the ensemble playing in front of the US leader at Gimhae International Airport in Busan on October 29.
During the ceremony, South Korean President Lee Jae-myung introduced military generals to Trump.
The visit was reportedly focused on talks concerning trade relations, investment opportunities, and efforts to maintain peace on the Korean Peninsula.
The disco hit 'Y.M.C.A.' was released in 1978 by the American group Village People, written by Jacques Morali and Victor Willis.
During Donald Trump's 2020 presidential campaign, the upbeat tune gained renewed attention after being frequently played at his rallies across the country. The music became a signature closing song, with Trump often seen dancing to it on stage, which drew both amusement and criticism from the public.
