GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - OCT. 29: The Israeli army killed at least 91 Palestinians, including children, in the Gaza Strip since Tuesday evening, violating the ceasefire agreement, according to medics.
Medical sources from Gaza hospitals told Anadolu on Wednesday that the Israeli strikes hit homes, tents sheltering displaced civilians, a vehicle, a shelter, and a hospital inside the so-called “yellow line.”
Dozens of civilians were injured in the attacks.
Video showed that the Israeli army killed several Palestinians, including children, violated the ceasefire by targeting a building in the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Officials warned that Israel's ongoing attacks targeting civilians, are further deteriorating the humanitarian situation in Gaza despite the ceasefire.
The ceasefire officially took effect on Oct. 10. Phase one of the deal includes the release of Israeli hostages in exchange for nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners. The plan also envisages the rebuilding of Gaza and the establishment of a new governing mechanism without Hamas.
Israel has killed more than 68,500 people, mostly women and children, and injured over 170,000 others in attacks in Gaza since October 2023.
