Los Angeles, United States - October 29, 2025 10/28/2025 09:30 pm GMT-0500 KOREATOWN, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Police Department's Olympic Division officers and Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to a report of a shooting on the 100 block of South Mariposa Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered a vacant boarded-up two-story residence, indicating possible squatter activity. Officers detained several individuals believed to have been inside the residence at the time of the shooting. These detainees informed officers that a man had been shot, and the shooter may still be inside the house. In response, officers formed a search team and entered the residence. They eventually located one individual inside and detained that person. Furthermore, they found a victim outside the home who had sustained a gunshot wound to the leg. LAFD paramedics transported the injured man to an area hospital for treatment. It remains unclear if the suspect was located.
