This is the heartwarming moment two children repeatedly bowed to a horse after feeding it a carrot.

Footage shows the young boy and his sister standing in front of the brown equine in Hebei, China, on September 23.

The boy uses a pair of tongs to offer a piece of carrot, stretching out his arm to reach the hoofed animal.

The horse initially struggles to grab the snack but eventually manages to bite it after extending its neck.

As the animal begins to chew, it nods and sways its head, prompting the siblings to imitate it, bowing in unison before the seemingly grateful creature.

Moments later, the horse pauses and looks away, leading the children to run towards their amused parents watching nearby.
