Mother bursts into tears when she sees surprise jewellery gift
This is the touching moment a mother burst into tears when she received a surprise jewellery gift.
Flor Ramos, 66, was dining with her family when her daughter, Joan Biagtan, presented her with a gold necklace in Cavite, the Philippines.
Footage shows Joan sitting beside her unsuspecting mum, pulling out a red jewellery box and placing it on the table as Flor looked away on October 27.
The elderly woman continued eating, unaware of the gift in front of her. Moments later, she turned to her left and spotted the necklace,
The pensioner can be seen visibly confused and asked what it was.
Her family then chorused a birthday greeting, prompting the emotional celebrant to break down in tears as she realised the gold necklace she had long wished for was now hers.
Joan, moved by her mother's reaction, also burst into tears before unfastening the clasp and placing the necklace around the pensioner's neck.
Joan said: 'I'd wanted to surprise my mother with a gold necklace for a long time, and when I finally saved enough, I bought it for her birthday. Seeing her so happy made my heart full.'
