This is the touching moment a kindhearted delivery rider saved his customer's laundry from the rain during a delivery.

Angelique Dela Cruz was at her doctor's appointment when the weather suddenly turned gloomy, prompting her to ask a favour from the courier who was delivering her parcel to gather the clothes hanging in her garage.

CCTV footage shows the man entering the gate and taking down the shirts and shorts from the clotheslines on October 27 in Central Luzon, the Philippines.

He then placed them on a clothes rack to prevent them from getting wet in the drizzle before leaving the parcel at the doorway.

Angelique said: 'I was having my orthodontic brace appointment, and it was sunny at that time.

'Fortunately, the rider contacted me about a parcel delivery, so I politely asked him if he could take down the clothes and put them on the rack, which he did. I gave him a token of appreciation afterwards.'
