Female tourists fight in queue for selfies at Bali beauty spot
Angry tourists had to be restrained when they started fighting in the queue for selfies at a beauty spot in Bali.
The Chinese holidaymakers were waiting in line for their turn to pose at the idyllic Kelingking Beach on the Nusa Penida island, a short boat ride from Ubud.
But tensions flared when one of the pouting visitors was taking too long while taking selfies with the blue sea and rocky outcrops behind her on October 10.
The woman in a black dress and blue baseball cap was ushered away from the position but began hurling insults at the woman in an orange dress.
They almost came to blows as local Indonesian tour guides held them back from fighting on the crowded cliffside spot.
Onlooker Kadek said: 'Both tourists were from China, and they were fighting because they wanted to take photos in the same position. One woman was blocking the way.
'I understand that they had both dressed up nicely for the photographs. They looked nice but had bad attitudes.
'It was shameful behaviour. If people are patient, everybody can have their turn.'
The stunning island of Nusa Penida is around 15 miles southeast of Bali. Visitors can reach the tropical paradise - dubbed the most beautiful place in the country - with a 30 minute speedboat ride.
