According to Finnish President’s office the two leaders signed a memorandum of understanding to establish the Uzbek-Finnish Business Council, aimed at enhancing trade and investment between the two countries.

They agreed to focus cooperation particularly on green technology and advanced industries.

During the talks, Finland expressed support for Uzbekistan's bid to join the World Trade Organization. Both leaders emphasized their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations across multiple sectors, including education and culture.

The visit concluded with both presidents expressing confidence that the agreements reached would significantly advance cooperation between Uzbekistan and Finland.

The visit took place on Oct. 30-31, 2025.
