The Maha Kathina Dana Ceremony was organized by the Bodhgaya Temple Management Committee, with sponsorship support of devotees from Thailand on 1 November 2025 in the shade of the sacred Bodhi tree.

There is a tradition of offering new robes and other essentials to the monastics after the three-month rains retreat. Robes were provided to 1500 monks at Bangladesh & Srilanka temple Bodhgaya International Buddhist Temple on 1 November. Under the guidance of monastics recited sutras and prayed for world peace, prosperity, and the welfare of all sentient beings.

In attendance were monks from Srilanka Bangladesh, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, as well as the Mahabodhi Temple . They have peace march for this occasion thats joined different countries monks nuns & school children's.
