Bloodied car recovered by police after man is stabbed in Birmingham on Sunday morning

Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred early Sunday morning near Clement Street, close to Birmingham city centre.

A blood-stained white Vauxhall Corsa has been recovered. The victim remains in a serious condition in hospital.

A bloodied white Vauxhall Corsa was recovered from a road close to Birmingham city centre on Sunday morning after a man was stabbed near Clement Street in the early hours of the 2nd Nov.

Police cordoned off the entrance to a block of flats where blood splatter was visible on a glass door and officers also erected forensic tents over evidence and a white Vauxhall Corsa.

As the vehicle was recovered, blood could be seen on the rear of the vehicle.

West Midlands Police said: ‘We're investigating after a man was found with stab injuries near the junction of Clement Street and The Parade at around 3.15am today (2 November).

‘The man has been taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.

‘We're reviewing CCTV as part of our enquiries in the area to establish what happened and who was involved.
