China: World IoT Expo 2025 concludes in China

The three-day World Internet of Thing (WIoT) Exposition 2025 concluded in the city of Wuxin, east China's Jiangsu Province, on Sunday, after releasing a series of industry-shaping outcomes. Themed "Intelligent Sensing, Network Connectivity, Industrial Empowerment," the expo drew to it nearly 400 exhibitors from 15 countries and regions, including the United States, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Singapore. A series of industry-shaping outcomes were rolled out at the expo this year, including the "Top 10 Global IoT Trends for 2025" insights and a global test network for 5G NTN (non-terrestrial network) satellite IoT. Leading experts and entrepreneurs were also invited to in-depth discussions on trending topics, including artificial intelligence and satellite IoT. As one of the largest, most specialized, and most influential gatherings in the global IoT sector, the expo has attracted more than 5,000 top experts and entrepreneurs from 56 countries and regions to Wuxi since 2016, with a total of over 2 million visits. The expo has also facilitated the landing of more than 300 projects worth over 150 billion yuan (about 21 billion U.S. dollars) and attracted 1,200 talents from China and overseas in total, providing a strong boost to the industry's high-quality development.
